100 thousand ammunition to be delivered to Ukraine in July and August
As part of the Czech initiative, 100 thousand units of ammunition will be delivered to Ukraine in July and August. This was announced on Monday, July 22, in Brussels by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský.
According to him, 18 countries have joined the initiative so far, and 15 of them have already fulfilled their promises and made their contributions. This means that we have enough money to supply 500,000 pieces of ammunition to Ukraine by the end of the year.
In July and August we will send a total of 100 thousand units of ammunition. We are now looking for money to buy more ammunition so that the initiative can continue until 2025. We could deliver up to 800,000 units this year if we had the money, – said Jan Lipavský.
12 children returned to Ukraine from occupied territories, – Lubinets
Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said that twelve more children have been returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories.
According to the ombudsman, these children, and their families lived in the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

Lubinets added that the families have already visited the Child Rights Protection Center. They were interviewed by a competent multifunctional team that recorded the crimes they witnessed or were victims of.
EU extends sanctions against Russia for another six months.
On July 22, the European Union extended sanctions against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine for another six months, until the end of January 2025.
The sanctions now include restrictions on trade, finance, technology and dual-use goods, industry, transportation and luxury goods.
They also include: a ban on the import or transfer by sea of crude oil and certain petroleum products from Russia to the EU, the disconnection of several Russian banks from SWIFT, and the suspension of broadcasts by propaganda media.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has arrived on a visit to China.
In China, Kuleba held talks on peace for Ukraine with Wang Yi. The main topic of discussion was the search for ways to stop Russian aggression, as well as China’s possible role in achieving a sustainable and just peace.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba informed Wang Yi about the results of the Summit in Switzerland. He also confirmed Ukraine’s consistent position. It consists in the readiness to negotiate with the Russian side at a certain stage, when Russia is ready to negotiate in good faith. However, Kuleba noted that there is currently no such readiness on the part of Russia.
At the same time, the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s website noted that Ukraine and China emphasized the need for a long-term vision and planning of relations between the two countries and the promotion of bilateral cooperation.
Netherlands and Denmark to supply 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine
The Netherlands and Denmark have begun the process of sending 14 Leopard 2A4 battle tanks to Ukraine, which were purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine last year.
It is known that the tanks have already been repaired and are completing testing. All 14 tanks will be delivered simultaneously by the end of summer 2024.

EU transfers €1.5 billion from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine’s defense and reconstruction
The European Commission clarified that this refers to the income received by EU operators and central securities depositories from frozen Russian sovereign assets.
The money will be transferred through the European Peace Facility and the Ukraine Facility program to support Ukraine’s military capabilities and to support the country’s reconstruction.
