Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this during a meeting with journalists on March 30. The President emphasized that the world must urgently find alternatives to PAC-3 missiles, as global production cannot keep pace with rising demand. Ukraine is currently negotiating with two nations to establish new strategic options for airspace defense.

Diplomacy and the Response to Rheinmetall

The President addressed the preparation for a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the US, and Russia. He stated that negotiations have not reached a stalemate, although venue disagreements persist.

“I do not think we are at a dead end. A dead end, after which what should we all do? Surrender, relax? Let Russia surrender, we will not. We must organize a trilateral meeting and move forward on the diplomatic track,” Zelenskyy noted.

The Head of State also addressed a recent statement by Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger. The German executive had compared Ukrainian drone manufacturers to “housewives” using 3D printers in their kitchens.

Zelenskyy responded:

“If every housewife in Ukraine can really produce drones, then every housewife in Ukraine can be the CEO of Rheinmetall.”

He stressed that Ukraine’s defense industry proves its worth through battlefield results rather than words.

Previously, The Ukrainian Review reported that weapon deliveries to Ukraine continue despite international tensions, and drones have become a key strategic resource in the war.
