22.07.2024

On July 23-25, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the official websites of the Foreign Ministries of both countries inform, Radiosvoboda reports.

During the meetings and negotiations, the parties will exchange views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The main topic of discussion will be the search for ways to stop Russian aggression and China’s possible role in achieving a sustainable and just peace, – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.

Last week, while visiting the UK, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the whole world would have to put pressure on Russia to convince it to come to the negotiating table and consider ending the war.

This does not mean that all the territories will be returned by force. I think the power of diplomacy can help, – he said.

Zelenskyy also added that the weaker Russia is on the battlefield, the stronger Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table.
