The Forces of Unmanned Systems (SBS) successfully struck 38 Russian air defense assets during April 2026. The total value of the destroyed and damaged enemy equipment reached approximately $1.1 billion. These high-precision strikes have significantly weakened Russia’s ability to protect its airspace in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The press service of the Forces of Unmanned Systems reported this development.
The military command highlighted the increasing effectiveness of drone units in neutralizing expensive Russian assets.
“The SBS group is changing the nature of modern warfare. We provide the capability to deliver asymmetric strikes far behind the contact line in areas the enemy previously considered relatively safe. We continue to increase the pace and expand the depth of our strikes,” the SBS stated.
During the reporting period, SBS units disabled 25 surface-to-air missile systems. Specifically, they hit seven Tor systems, five Tor-M2 units, and five Buk complexes. Additionally, three Pantsir systems, three Osa units, one S-350 system, and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun on an MT-LB chassis were targeted. Furthermore, drone operators struck 13 radar and electronic warfare systems. These included Zoopark, Kasta, Nebo-M, and P-37 Mech radars, as well as the Palantin electronic warfare system and the 92N6E radar from the S-400 complex.
Large-scale operation against Russian radar systems
Specific SBS units conducted a series of targeted attacks across various front-line sectors. The Forces of Unmanned Systems also reported these operations. For instance, the 1st Separate Center destroyed a Pantsir-S1 system in the Donetsk region and a Tor system in the Luhansk region. They also successfully attacked P-18 radars in the Zaporizhzhia region and several enemy telecommunication centers.
At the same time, operators from the “Phoenix” border unit localized and struck a P-18 radar in the Luhansk region. Fighters from the 412th Nemesis Brigade, in cooperation with the 1st Separate Center, neutralized six airspace control systems at once. Moreover, the 414th “Birds of Magyar” Brigade targeted the permanent deployment points of the “Storm” and “Rubicon” units in the Donetsk region. As a result, the Russian army suffered personnel losses. The strikes also disrupted the command and control systems of occupation units in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, The Ukrainian Review reported that drones hit Tuapse oil facility for the fourth time in two weeks.
