Romania plans to cooperate with Ukraine in the development of domestic anti-ship missiles R-360 Neptune, Hromadske reports.
According to Army Recognition and Newsweek, Romania is trying to follow the example of other European countries and cooperate with Kyiv in the field of arms production. Joint production of Neptune missiles is expected to begin after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
For Romania, the interest in this development lies in joint control of the Black Sea coastal waters with Ukraine. It is noted that Ukraine is currently working on modernizing these missiles so that they can hit targets at a distance of up to a thousand kilometers.
