The United States has allocated a new $375 million military aid package to Ukraine, according to the Pentagon’s website, Radio Svoboda reports.
The package includes the following:
- air-to-ground ammunition;

- 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition;
- Optical tracking and wire guided missiles (TOW);
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- armored security vehicles M1117;
- mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAP);
- light tactical vehicles;
- armored bridge systems;
- small arms
- patrol boats;
- demining equipment and ammunition;
- spare parts, auxiliary equipment, services, training and transportation.
The defense ministry also noted that this is the 66th tranche of equipment that the Biden administration will provide to Ukraine from the US Department of Defense warehouses starting in August 2021.
In addition, Reuters earlier reported, citing two US officials, that the US plans to announce military aid to Ukraine worth more than $8 billion during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington.
The agency noted that Joe Biden’s administration is negotiating with Congress to allow it to use $5.6 billion in military aid to Ukraine by September 30.
Several US NGOs have asked the State Department not to miss the opportunity to use the remaining $6.2 billion in aid to Ukraine, which is still available under the presidential authority. Time is running out on September 30, when the budget year ends.
