Gulf countries have urged U.S. President Donald Trump not to halt military operations against Iran and to continue efforts to weaken its military capabilities.

Reuters reported this, citing government sources in the region and diplomats.
Details
According to the sources, Gulf states initially opposed the launch of military action against Iran. However, they later shifted their position following Tehran’s response to U.S. and Israeli strikes, as well as growing threats to regional energy security.
Officials in the region worry that Iran could continue to disrupt energy supplies, particularly by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. For this reason, they now see the full military degradation of Iran’s capabilities as necessary.
At the same time, Reuters reports that Washington has also pressured regional governments to join military operations against Tehran.
Context
The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical route for global oil shipments, and its disruption has already heightened tensions in energy markets. Amid the escalation, Iran has issued sharp warnings to other countries, including threats toward Ukraine in case of support for Israel.
Experts warn that further escalation – including a potential U.S. ground operation – could have serious consequences for stability across the Middle East.
Earlier, The Ukrainian Review reported that the administration of President Donald Trump had begun preliminary discussions on the next phase of the conflict and the possible framework for peace talks with Iran.
