Ukraine and dozens of partner countries are finalizing thematic conferences on specific points of the “peace formula”. Based on the work of these forums, work will begin on the formation of proposals for the second Peace Summit, which should be the basis for consideration and approval by its participants.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Suspilne.
According to him, from August to November, all the points of the “peace formula” were worked out within the framework of such conferences – all with “good representation of the world”.
There were meetings on nuclear safety, energy safety, food safety, environmental safety – after the Kakhovka dam was blown up and all the Russian strikes. In other words, all aspects of Russian aggression will be included in a separate document, which should become a substantive basis for the second Peace Summit. A step-by-step path to peace, – Zelenskyy said.
According to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, conferences on the “formula” will end by the end of November.
In early November, we will finalize our ‘peace formula’ and President Zelensky said that then he will be ready to listen to other initiatives, such as China, Brazil, South Africa, etc., to integrate them into ours. Then our proposal will have significant support, – Yermak said.
On October 30-31, a mixed format conference on the fourth point of the “peace formula” on the “Release of Prisoners and Deportees” is taking place in Montreal, Canada. According to the President, it is about tens of thousands of children abducted by Russia from the occupied territories of Ukraine. Among the deportees are children from orphanages, those who lost their parents as a result of Russian aggression, and those who were separated from their families during Russian filtration measures.
It was agreed during the first Peace Summit in Switzerland in June to hold thematic conferences based on the work of the relevant working groups.
