In the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held separate meetings with the Prime Ministers of Albania, North Macedonia and Greece – Edi Rama, Hristijan Mickoski, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy thanked them for their support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression, and spoke in detail about the situation on the battlefield and the defense needs of Ukrainian soldiers.
With Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula, preparations for the second Peace Summit, Ukraine’s path to the EU and NATO, and the reconstruction of the country.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Edi Rama agreed to start consultations between the countries to prepare a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine.
During the meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, the parties discussed the possibility of signing a bilateral security agreement in the near future, as well as joining efforts on the path to membership in the European Union.
The talks with the President of Slovenia focused on the implementation of the bilateral security agreement and further defense support.
Among the topics discussed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the Greek Prime Minister were bilateral cooperation, including in the security and defense sector, as well as Ukraine’s integration into the EU and NATO.
Ukraine and Greece will also soon sign a bilateral security agreement.
