President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would end the war with Russia in a way that would be beneficial to the state and its people, Hromadske reports.
He said this during a speech at the Ukrainian Youth Forum.
Ukraine, despite the harsh circumstances of the war, will not have a generation lost because of the war. We will end this war in the way our Ukraine, our state, our people need, and we will return security to our state and our Ukrainian youth, – he emphasized.
According to the President, younger generations will “always have” the opportunity to realize their talents, “feel needed”, provide for their families and educate their children. In addition, he noted that these are fundamental things that must be ensured.
At the same time, the Head of State noted that the main task now is to protect Ukraine. He thanked all the boys and girls, men and women who are fighting and working for Ukraine.
We are holding the line, particularly in the information and cultural spheres, thanks to many of our people. And often these are very young people who are trying to strengthen and spread Ukrainian narratives, – he said.
In his speech, Zelenskyy added that it is important to “spread and protect the Ukrainian idea” and culture, and this is a matter not only for older generations but also for young people.
