Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes on April 13–14 targeting Russian military assets used in the war. The targets included radar stations, air defense systems, and drone storage facilities.

Radar systems and air defenses
On April 14, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the strikes on social media. According to the statement, Ukrainian troops hit several Russian radar stations and surface-to-air missile systems. The main goal was to weaken Russia’s air defense capabilities.
In particular, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Nebo-U” radar station. It is located in temporarily occupied Crimea, in the city of Feodosia. This system plays a key role in detecting aerial targets, so damaging it could reduce Russia’s ability to monitor the region’s airspace.
Moreover, on April 13, Ukrainian forces attacked additional radar stations used for airspace control in Russia’s Belgorod region. One target was located near the village of Nikolayevka. Another was the “Kasta-2E” radar station, located near the settlement of Lubyano-Pervoye. In addition, the General Staff confirmed another strike on April 13. Ukrainian troops targeted a “Tor-M1” surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Lozove in temporarily occupied Luhansk region. The extent of the damage is still being clarified.
Drone storage facilities
At the same time, Ukrainian forces also targeted locations where Russia stores strike drones. According to the General Staff, strikes took place on April 13 and during the night of April 14 in temporarily occupied Donetsk region. Specifically, Ukrainian units hit a site near Donetsk airport. Russian forces reportedly use this location to store and prepare drones for attacks.
For these operations, Ukraine used a combination of precision weapons. These included SCALP cruise missiles and GBU-39 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Ukrainian-made strike drones were deployed.
Furthermore, Ukrainian forces attacked Russian ammunition depots in temporarily occupied territories. The strikes hit locations in Zaporizhzhia region (Azovske) and Donetsk region (Urzuf and Kulikivske). However, the full scale of damage and enemy losses is still being clarified.
Earlier, The Ukrainian Review reported that a Russian military medical research institute under the Defense Ministry is conducting experiments with munitions and pharmacological substances on volunteer servicemen.
