President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees imposing sanctions on Russian entities supporting the aggressor’s military-industrial complex. These measures target individuals and companies that help Russia bypass international restrictions and conduct illegal business in occupied territories. Furthermore, the sanctions include entities involved in the construction of the Kerch Bridge.

The Office of the President of Ukraine reported that the new package includes 26 individuals and 31 legal entities. Specifically, the list targets manufacturers of maritime and aerial robotic systems. Additionally, the government-sanctioned enterprises produce electronic warfare systems, air defense units, and armored vehicles. The aviation sector also faces restrictions, particularly on plants repairing Mi-series helicopters.
What is known about the restrictions
Another NSDC decision focuses on 7 individuals and 11 legal entities facilitating the evasion of global sanctions. Consequently, this group includes producers of components for X-101 and Iskander-K missiles. Moreover, the state blocked the assets of companies operating in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Ukraine intends to share this data with international partners to synchronize future measures.
The Presidential Advisor on Sanctions Policy, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, stated:
“These sanctions hit the core of the Russian military-industrial complex, from weapons manufacturers and critical components to networks that ensure the circumvention of sanctions. We are consistently closing the loops, including activities in the temporarily occupied territories. The pressure will only increase — both from our side and together with our partners.”
Previously, The Ukrainian Review reported that the United States removed three vessels flying the Russian flag from its sanctions list. Before this, the U.S. had only eased restrictions related to Russian oil trade. Currently, Ukraine continues to advocate for maximum economic pressure to stop the full-scale invasion.
