The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a series of strategic military and logistics facilities deep inside the Russian Federation. The operation targeted the Maykop military airfield, the Port Kavkaz infrastructure, and defense industry plants. Additionally, Ukrainian drones disabled the Kremniy El strategic plant in Bryansk, halting the production of missile components.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the successful strikes on March 14. These facilities directly support the Russian occupation army during the full-scale invasion. Striking the airfield in the Republic of Adygea aims to reduce the intensity of Russian tactical aviation attacks.

“As part of the measures to counter the use of enemy operational-tactical aviation, the infrastructure of the Maykop military airfield (Republic of Adygea, Russia) was recently hit. According to preliminary information, there are hits on the airfield’s infrastructure facilities,” the General Staff stated.

Furthermore, the military clarified the results of the strike on the Kremniy El enterprise in Bryansk. This plant produces integrated circuits for ballistic, cruise, and anti-aircraft missiles. The attack caused a massive fire in the main production building and a components warehouse. Consequently, production at the facility has ceased for approximately six months.

Impact on Russian military logistics

Besides aviation bases, Ukrainian units targeted the economic potential of the aggressor. In the Krasnodar region, drones hit the Afipsky oil refinery, which processes over 6 million tons of oil annually. Damage was also recorded at the Port Kavkaz infrastructure in the Chushka area.

“To reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor on the night of March 14, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck military and logistics infrastructure facilities in Russia. In particular, the Afipsky oil refinery was hit. In addition, the infrastructure of the Kavkaz port in the Chushka area was damaged,” the military added.

Both enterprises are crucial for supplying the Russian army. Systematic strikes on Russian military infrastructure will continue until the end of the full-scale aggression against Ukraine.

Previously, The Ukrainian Review reported that Ukraine will receive a batch of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles from Europe in the coming weeks.
