On Wednesday, October 9, during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Croatia, Ukraine, and Croatia signed an agreement on long-term support and cooperation, Suspilne reports.
Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
The President of Ukraine met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic. During the meeting, they discussed defense assistance and cooperation, humanitarian demining, rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and wounded soldiers, the restoration of Ukraine, and European integration.
Today we also signed an Agreement on long-term support and cooperation between our countries. Together we will develop cooperation between our defense industries. Croatia will continue to provide equipment and share knowledge on humanitarian demining, – Zelenskyy said.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Croatia has already provided 11 military aid packages to Ukraine.
