On Wednesday, October 16, the White House commented on Ukraine’s victory plan, in particular on the first point regarding Ukraine’s invitation to NATO. The United States assured that it will continue to provide military support to Ukraine, Suspilne reports.
This was announced at a briefing by White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre.
I have made it very clear that we will allow Ukrainians to tell us about their plan for victory. It is their plan, and we will give them the opportunity to express it. What we will continue to do is demonstrate our support for the Ukrainians on the battlefield as they continue to repel Russian aggression. I have nothing more to share, – Jean-Pierre said.
As a reminder, on October 16, Zelenskyy presented a plan for Ukraine’s victory in the Verkhovna Rada. In general, the document released by the head of state consists of five sections. The first point concerns inviting Ukraine to join NATO before the war ends. According to Zelenskyy, this will be a “testament to determination” and will show how the partners see Ukraine in the “security architecture”.
