The $200 million package includes air defense interceptor missiles, ammunition for rocket systems and artillery, and anti-tank weapons.

In addition, the US Department of Defense announced a “significant support package” that will use about $1.5 billion from the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). This assistance includes:

  • Ammunition for NASAMS;
  • Ammunition for short- and medium-range air defense systems;
  • RIM-7 missiles for air defense;
  • electronic warfare equipment;
  • ammunition for HIMARS;
  • 155-mm and 105-mm artillery shells;
  • 120 mm mortar shells;
  • high-precision aircraft munitions;
  • Optical tracking and wire guided missiles (TOW);
  • Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
  • small arms
  • explosives and equipment for detonation;
