The Ukrainian Review celebrates Independence Day together with Ukrainian communities across Europe

04.09.2024

On August 24, Ukrainians worldwide proudly marked the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. This is a special day for our people, no matter where they are now.  It is a symbol of resilience, courage, and the unwavering spirit of a nation that has fought tirelessly for its right to exist freely.

This is a special year of celebration for The Ukrainian Review team, as our journals were present across celebrations in various countries, including Denmark, Spain, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia and Switzerland. This happened thanks to our incredible partners who have supported us and agreed to tell about our project and shared our journals through their events.

Through our content, we aim to amplify Ukraine’s voice on the global stage, showcasing its role in today’s world and fostering international dialogue. By sharing Ukrainian narratives, we build bridges between Ukraine and the global community with thoughtful, unbiased storytelling.

We extend our deepest gratitude to each partner organization, volunteer, and supporter who helped make these events a success.
