Russian forces launched overnight strikes on Dnipro and Kharkiv on March 10, injuring at least 20 people, including children.
Local administrations reported the consequences of the attacks.
Dnipro
The attack on the city began late in the evening. The strike damaged a residential high-rise and a bank branch.

Authorities reported 10 injured people by morning, including a 12-year-old boy. Doctors hospitalized two women.
According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, air defense units destroyed 19 Russian drones over the region during the night.
Kharkiv
Russian forces attacked the city with drones. One strike hit the Industrialnyi district, where cars caught fire and flames spread to apartments on the lower floors of a residential building.

Officials initially reported four injured people: a 16-year-old girl, a 41-year-old woman, and a 36-year-old man received medical assistance at the scene. Doctors hospitalized a 51-year-old man with blast injuries.
Later, two more residents—a 43-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman—sought medical care.
Another drone strike in Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district injured four women aged 17 to 58. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said a 10-year-old girl also appears among the injured.
The attacks also damaged private houses and utility buildings.
Context
Russian forces regularly strike Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones, targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
These attacks frequently kill and injure civilians. Ukrainian air defense units intercept many aerial targets every day, but they cannot fully shield all regions of the country.
Earlier, The Ukrainian Review reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine lacks sufficient air defense coverage. In an interview, he stated that 80% of the country’s territory has no systems capable of protecting against ballistic missiles.
