President’s Response

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported destruction in multiple regions and dozens of injuries. Rescue teams worked in the Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions, as well as in the capital.

According to Zelenskyy, air defense forces shot down most of the missiles thanks to additional interceptors that partners recently delivered. Officials agreed on these supplies during the latest Ramstein meeting.

“ Unfortunately, there were also hits. And this means we must continue working even more actively. The cold has not yet fully receded, and air defense missiles are needed every single day while Russia continues its attempts to destroy our energy system,” Zelenskyy wrote.

Earlier, The Ukrainian Review reported on Zelenskyy’s statement about Ukraine’s shortage of air defense systems. In an interview, he said that 80% of the country’s territory lacks protection against ballistic threats.
