According to the President of Ukraine, air defence is critically lacking (25% of the need), Ukraine needs 120-130 modern F-16 combat aircraft.

Zelenskyy said that Russia want to attack Kharkiv, but they understand that it is difficult. The offensive in Kharkiv region may be the first wave of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces. The situation in the region is under control, but not stabilized. The Russians began the operation in several waves. They do not yet have the strength for a large-scale offensive on Kyiv.
Zelenskyy added that attacking Ukraine with any weapon from Russian territory is the biggest advantage that Russia has.
“We are in an absurd situation where the West is afraid that Russia will lose the war. And they does not want Ukraine to lose it”, – he said.
In an interview with AFP, the president criticized the allies for the ban on striking with Western weapons on the territory of Russia.
