Context

Ukrainian and European officials have repeatedly pointed to military cooperation between Russia and Iran. In particular, they mention the transfer of drones and intelligence. Iran has also publicly confirmed cooperation with Russia.

In addition, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei stayed in Moscow. He received treatment there after U.S. and Israeli attacks.

At the same time, U.S. President Donald Trump first denied Russia’s active role in supporting Iran. Later, he said such support “may exist,” without strongly criticizing Moscow.

Previously The Ukrainian Review reported that U.S. President Donald Trump may change his policy toward Ukraine. In particular, he may reduce support if he seeks to pressure Europe amid possible setbacks in the Middle East.
