During his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he is expected to share his vision and prospects for a peaceful resolution of the “conflict” with Russia. This was informed by The Times of India.

Earlier, Modi said during his visit to Kyiv that he would share “perspectives” on a peaceful resolution of the “conflict” between Ukraine and Russia. According to the sources of the Hindustan Times, the Indian side has ruled out any direct mediation role between Ukraine and Russia. But India can transmit messages between the two sides.
On June 14, 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Italy.
