South Korea may reconsider the ban on arms supplies to Ukraine

On October 24, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said that the country may consider sending lethal weapons to Ukraine, depending on the situation with North Korean units in Russia.

If North Korea sends special forces to war in Ukraine, we will support Ukraine step by step and consider taking the necessary measures to ensure the security of the Korean Peninsula, – Yoon said at a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Seoul.

Radar station damaged in Crimea as a result of UAV shelling – ASTRA

As a result of a drone attack on the night of October 24, a mobile radar station of the Russian military was damaged in Crimea. According to the report, the drones tried to attack the mobile station of the 31st Air Defense Division of the Russian Federation, located a few kilometers from the village of Olenivka.

As a result, one drone exploded and damaged a mobile radar station. Russian authorities and the Russian military did not comment on the report.

G7 plans to transfer $50 billion loan to Ukraine by the end of the year – US Treasury

The U.S. government has agreed to allocate its $20 billion share of a larger G7 loan to Ukraine, which will be guaranteed by the profits from frozen Russian assets.

The Group of Seven intends to provide Ukraine with a $50 billion loan by the end of this year. And the United States will join the G7 to provide a $20 billion loan to Ukraine, which will be repaid from the proceeds of Russia’s own assets, – said U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

UK trains 200 Ukrainian pilots to continue training on F-16 – Voice of America

The Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom has already trained 200 Ukrainian pilots, who will subsequently begin training on the F-16.

Unfortunately, the UK does not operate American-made F-16 fighters, so it provides only initial flight training for young pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force.

The next step is advanced training of high-speed jets and the transition to F-16s together with partner countries, –  the Royal Air Force said.

The Armed Forces may create a separate branch of troops – Cyber Forces, – General Staff

The Defense Forces discussed the issue of creating Cyber Forces as a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff emphasized that the creation of Cyber Forces as a separate branch of the Armed Forces will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian army. It will also ensure effective planning and implementation of the full range of tasks in cyberspace, which, along with land, sea, air and space, is recognized as a separate operational domain.

India has blocked Turkey’s accession to the BRICS – Bild

On the eve of the 16th BRICS summit, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan applied for associate membership in the group, but no statements were made on this topic at the final press conference on the second day of the summit.

Turkish foreign policy expert Sinan Ülgen claims that there was not even a vote on this issue. According to the Turkish ex-diplomat, Turkey’s accession to the BRICS is being hindered by India, allegedly because of Ankara’s good relations with Pakistan, which is hostile to Delhi.

Baykar plans to complete construction of a plant in Ukraine next year

Drone manufacturing company Baykar plans to complete the construction of a plant in Ukraine in 2025.

We have completed 80% of the construction (of the plant – ed.), and orders for machines are coming in. The date of production will be determined by the course of the war, but the facility will be ready in August 2025, – said Executive Director Haluk Bayraktar.

The plant is expected to produce TB2 drones or their TB3 variant with a higher payload.
