Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine plans to expand its presence in European markets and start producing drones abroad. Speaking on Sunday, Zelenskyy said that by 2026 Ukraine will open ten export centers across Europe, including in the Baltic states and Nordic countries.

He also said that Ukrainian drone production will begin in Germany in mid-February. In addition, he said manufacturing lines already operate in the United Kingdom. According to Zelenskyy, all projects rely on Ukrainian technologies. Moreover, Ukrainian President said Europe’s security increasingly depends on modern technologies, especially drones. He added that several joint projects will mainly rely on Ukrainian specialists who gained practical experience during the war.
Energy, security and rural development
Zelenskyy also commented on strikes against Russia’s energy infrastructure. He said Russia uses oil and energy revenues to fund weapons production and attacks on Ukraine. Therefore, he described these facilities as part of Russia’s war economy.
Separately, he spoke about rural development in Ukraine. He said the government should focus on creating conditions for private business rather than opening state enterprises in villages. He also mentioned preferential loan programs for rural areas. However, he said infrastructure investment remains essential.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine continues to increase agricultural output despite the war and temporary occupation of some territories. He added that rural communities remain important for the economy, although full recovery will take time.
Earlier, The Ukrainian Review reported that Wolfgang Ischinger, head of the Munich Security Conference, said a ceasefire in Ukraine could threaten Europe’s security.
