On the night of February 11, Russian forces attacked a private house in the city of Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region. The strike killed three young children and their father.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this.
Details of the Tragedy
Preliminary reports indicate that at 23:30, a Russian UAV of the “Heran-2” type hit a private house of a family of five, who had recently evacuated from the town of Zolochiv. The house was completely destroyed and caught fire.
Three children died: a two-year-old girl and two one-year-old boys, along with their 34-year-old father. Rescue teams managed to save the mother, who is 35 weeks pregnant. She suffered blast injuries, a traumatic brain injury, acoustic trauma, and thermal burns. According to doctors, the woman is in satisfactory condition and does not require hospitalization.
A 74-year-old neighbor also suffered injuries and developed an acute stress reaction and hypertensive crisis.
Attack in Zaporizhzhia Region
Additionally, Russian forces attacked the city of Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region, reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA.
Five people, including two women aged 19 and 77, suffered injuries. The attack cut electricity for over 11,000 residents and damaged private homes and a medical facility.
“Restoring heating may be more difficult and take longer, especially in one district of the city. However, electricity will be restored to all consumers. In the Komunarskyi district, we are opening additional ‘Points of Invincibility’,” Fedorov said.
President’s Reaction
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the tragedy, expressing condolences to the families of the victims:
“Yesterday in Kharkiv, Russians struck a private house with a drone. They killed three young children. Their father also died. My sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones. The mother was hospitalized – she is pregnant and suffered burns,” Zelenskyy said.
He added that in the morning, Russians attacked a city hospital in Zaporizhzhia with a drone and launched 129 strike drones across Ukraine since the previous evening, most of which were Shaheds:
“At night in Sumy region, six people were injured in a drone attack, including children. Unfortunately, one person died. Early in the morning, there was also a strike on the railway depot in Konotop – the fire train was damaged. They also attacked Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava region.”
Zelenskyy also noted that the Russian army does not intend to stop the war and plans to continue fighting. He emphasized the need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and resilience support packages.
Context
Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure and residential areas continue despite international calls to cease the strikes. Recovery services and “Points of Invincibility” continue to operate in Ukraine to minimize the impact of the attacks on civilians.
Previously, The Ukrainian Review reported that on the night of February 8–9, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and strike drones. Civilians were affected in various regions of the country, and there were also fatalities.
