The Crimean Platform Summit in 2024 will be held this Wednesday, September 11, reports Suspilne.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address on September 9.
Today I held several meetings with our team of international experts. We are preparing the Crimean Platform Summit for September 11. The first lady’s team is preparing our special diplomatic format, the First Ladies and Gentlemen’s Summit, which will also take place this week, – he said.
The Head of State also added that they are preparing new negotiations with partners for the sake of greater strength for Ukraine, for the sake of greater opportunities for Ukrainians.
We remember the key goal – peace for the whole of Ukraine, for all our people, – Zelenskyy emphasized.
The Crimean Platform
The Crimean Platform is a new international consultation and coordination format initiated by Ukraine.
The platform aims to improve the effectiveness of the international response to the occupation of Crimea, respond to growing security threats, increase international pressure on the Kremlin, prevent further human rights violations and protect the victims of the occupation regime, and achieve the main goal of de-occupying Crimea and returning it to Ukraine peacefully.
